My Go-To Quick Chili Recipe for BEST Beef Chili Ever!
My Quick Chili recipe from my easiest KITCHEN 101 cookbook makes a great choice whether you are having company or need a quick dinner. Nothing beats a simmering hearty pot of belly-warming soup on a cold day. My sister called me yesterday and said, “I forgot how fabulous your quick chili recipe was!” This easy beef chili recipe uses 10 ingredients and takes about 10 minutes to prepare. Now, you know why I always make this ground beef chili recipe and it’s my favorite quick and easy chili recipe. Who doesn’t like a fast chili recipe and it tastes like its been simmering on the stove for hours. Quick Chili recipe from Holly Clegg’s KITCHEN 101 cookbook
My go to fast chili recipe and tastes like it has been cooking for hours! Top with condiments and I usually serve with chopped red onions, avocado and shredded reduced-fat Cheddar cheese.
Makes 4 heaping (1-cup) servings
1 pound ground sirloin
1 onion, chopped
Dash ground cinnamon
1 (15-ounce) can fat-free chicken broth
1 (10 1/2-ounce) can diced tomatoes and green chilies
Salt and pepper to taste
1 (6-ounce) can tomato paste
1 tablespoon chili powder
1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
1 (15-ounce) can black beans, drained and rinsed
1. In large nonstick pot, cook meat and onion until done and drain any excess fat.
2. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, and cook over low heat about 10 minutes.

Terrific Tip: To cook in slow cooker, first cook meat and onion in skillet until done.

Tips for a Soup-er Easy Beef Chili Buffet
Make it SOUP-ER easy to serve that “come and go crowd,” and a soup buffet is the perfect solution! Serve soup simmering on the stove or use crock-pots to keep your soup warm. Have mugs by the soup so guests can eat at their leisure. You’ll love this functional ladle as it would be the perfect serving utensil and one pot accompaniment!
